Index of Examples

Return to chapter overviewNext page

The following examples are designed to showcase aspects of the program. They describe a scenario then show the calculation results. There is some commentary within the calculation results.

Every example has a multimedia demonstration that you can watch.

Each of the example calculation files are supplied with Calin Professional - therefore you can load the example on your own computer if you want to.

The Simple Amount Examples start with relatively basic scenarios.

Each of the Transactions Examples builds on the previous scenario. Each successive scenario starts by saying how it is different from the previous scenario.

It then tells you what program features the example is demonstrating, and finally, it gives the full composite scenario so you can see the whole story (rather than just the incremental change from the previous example).

The Repayment Plan examples continue to build on the transactions examples.

The best way to learn about what the program can do, and therefore how it can help you and your clients, is to click on each example or click the buttons to move between each example to examine in turn.

Read the headnote to see what the example is about. Peruse the calculation results. Then go to the next example.

The examples become increasingly complex. Example 25 showcases most of the program's capabilities.
